Competition law

Our lawyers with expertise in the field of competition law provide legal advice in connection with Norwegian and international competition law as well as EU and EEA law. The department's advisory services relate especially to mergers and acquisitions, public procurement, public enterprises and monopolies, state aid, commercial contracts (distribution, franchising, exclusive purchasing agreements etc.) and assistance in control cases. In addition, the department provides advice on strategy, training and compliance with competition law and general competition and market law. We actively engage with public authorities, national and international (The Norwegian Competition Authority, The European Commission, and EFTA Surveillance Authority etc.) and cover a wide range of trades and industries, such as industry, commerce, public authorities, shipping, petroleum, energy, the environment, health, telecommunications, the media etc.
