Tax

Our tax department has very experienced lawyers who provide legal advice in connection with Norwegian and international tax issues. We advise Norwegian and international clients on reorganisation, sale or acquisition of companies, tax-free reorganisation and general corporate and personal tax issues. In the field of national and international tax planning we provide advice on the optimal tax structure, international personal taxation, transfer pricing, incentive schemes for employees, petroleum taxation, inheritance and succession, VAT planning, customs excise and special taxes and duties. The department has a great deal of experience and competence in dealing with tax disputes. Problems we have dealt with in this field have included tax audits, tax assessment disputes, disputes relating to fixing import duties and/or other excises, and litigation before the courts of law in cases involving taxes and excise duties.
