Our specialist Competition & Antitrust practice provides legal advice to a wide variety of corporate clients. We have resolved competition issues in all markets, from satellite communications to deep sea drilling. We have a broad range of experience handling cases before the national courts, the Norwegian competition authority, the EFTA Surveillance Authority, the European Commission and the European Courts in Luxembourg. The group is also engaged in matters pending before other Nordic competition authorities and handles multi-jurisdictional matters across the Nordics as well as further afield.
The group advices on all aspects of merger control and merger filings and is well versed in the specificities of merger control procedures with the various Nordic authorities as well as with the European Commission.
Equally, our firm provides continuous antitrust advice to leading international companies operating in Norway, and Norwegian companies operating outside Norway.

- Advising a Scandinavian consumer products company in a leniency application brought before the European Commission, ESA and the Norwegian Competition Authority (case pending)
- Advising a large listed industrial client in an alleged dominance case in Finland with Nordic implications (case pending)
- Advising a listed International retail company on Norwegian merger control issues related to a potential merger with a close competitor (case pending).
- Preparing the national defence in a private damages claim brought by the customers against alleged cartel members (case pending).
