Arild Dyngeland - New partner in Schjødt
We welcome Arild Dyngeland as a new partner in Schjødt, where he will be working in the dispute resolution department in the Bergen office. Arild has extensive experience from trials in complex commercial and criminal matters. He specialises in business crime defence and dispute resolution. He has litigated civil and criminal cases before the courts, including corruption, tax law, fraud, contract law, and liability for individuals and entities, for more than 20 years.
Arild was admitted to the Supreme court in 2005 and has since then frequently represented clients in the Supreme court. He was appointed as regular defence lawyer to the Supreme court in 2015.
Arild has held several positions in the Norwegian Bar Association, including as a member and leader of the disciplinary committee for lawyers in western Norway, member and leader of the law committee for criminal law, and as a director of the Bar association. From 2000 to 2001 he was a deputy judge in the Bergen city court.
He has been identified by Whos Who Legal as a foremost practitioner in the fields of Asset recovery, Business crime defence and Investigations.
Arild is a Master’s of Law (Cand.jur.) from the University of Bergen (1998).
