Eleanor focuses on dispute resolution and advising clients on a broad range of shipping matters, including charterparty and ship management disputes, bills of lading disputes and cargo claims. She also has experience of assisting clients in dealing with collisions, groundings, unsafe ports, issues of general average and limitation claims.

Eleanor regularly acts in arbitration proceedings and in the English High Court. Eleanor also advises clients in relation to non-contentious drafting issues, with a focus on sale and purchase agreements.

Before joining Schjødt in July 2020, Eleanor spent 5 years at Ince and gained valuable experience after undertaking a secondment to the in-house legal team of a leading international owner, operator and manager of LNG carriers. She also spent six months of her training in Monaco.
