Hallvard has extensive litigation experience and is admitted to the Supreme Court of Norway. Hallvard represents and counsels clients in disputes involving numerous industries and on various legal topics including among others contract law, employment law, tax law and administrative/public law.
Hallvard has also significant experience in energy law and in-debt knowledge of the renewable energy industry. Hallvard assists renewable energy producers and grid-companies with both litigation and general counseling.
Hallvard is a graduate of the University of Oslo and has also studied at the University of Edinburgh. He has been a research assistant at the Department of Petroleum and Energy Law at the University of Oslo.
Before joining Schjødt Hallvard worked for 5 years at The Office of the Attorney General, representing the Norwegian government in civil cases. Hallvard has also worked as a lawyer in the Norwegian law firm Thommessen and as a deputy judge at Romsdal District Court.
