Halvor has been a part of our litigation team since he came onboard in 1997, and today leads our Dispute Resolution department and is head of our IP practice. He has extensive experience from large cases, having litigated in the Balder-case (20 months of court pleadings) and other large cases for Norwegian and international clients. His practice areas cover IP/media, bio/pharma, technology /IT and offshore.
He is ranked as leading within his practice areas of IP/Media by Chambers, Legal 500, PLC, MIP and IAM, and he holds the Norwegian Supreme Court Bar. Halvor also sits as panelist in UDRP cases before WIPO, and has experience in arbitrations and various ADR forms. He sits in the JUS committee for civil litigation, and is the author of several articles and books within the legal sector.
