Josefin is a senior associate in Schjødt's litigation and arbitration department and an associated member of Schjødt's M&A and Capital Markets department. She joined the firm in 2011 and specialises in litigation and dispute resolution. Engström represents clients in all types of business law disputes in both ordinary courts and by arbitral tribunals. She also advises clients on media law and freedom of expression. Josefin has been an associate in Schjødt's M&A and Capital Markets department for two years and has experience from international acquisitions and stock exchange related transactions, as well as advising clients on corporate regulatory issues and securities law.
She holds a Master's degree in law from Stockholm University Faculty of Law. She also has a Bachelor's degree in journalism from Oslo University College where she specialised in Norwegian law. Prior to joining Schjødt, Josefin worked as a journalist for Norway's leading newspaper Aftenposten. She also practiced as a trainee in Vinge's litigation and arbitration department in Stockholm, and provided pro bono legal advice to homeless clients on behalf of the highly successful students' association Gatujuristerna.
Josefin speaks Swedish as a second language.
