Senior Lawyer, Oslo Download vCard

I represent global companies within the oil, offshore and green energy sector. My main expertise is advising on regulatory and contractual issues, and I have in-depth knowledge of the petroleum legislation, the licence framework and the standard agreements on the Norwegian continental shelf, in particular NF/NTK. I also work with commercial negotiations and dispute resolution. Before joining Schjødt, I served as senior legal counsel in the Japanese oil company Idemitsu. In Idemitsu, I advised on all aspects of petroleum law, prepared various contracts, participated in negotiations, handled compliance matters, and represented the company in the NOROG Legal Committee. My previous experience also includes working as senior associate in the law firms Michelet & Co and Arntzen de Besche. I hold the LLM degree «Oil & Gas Law» from the University of Aberdeen, where I specialised in the subjects «State Control», «Regulation», «Contracting» and «International Investment Arbitration». My LLM dissertation was called «Financial Decommissioning Responsibilities When Assigning Assets in a Mature Jurisdiction with Focus on Smaller Players: A Comparative Study of United Kingdom and Norwegian Law».
