Kristin Slørdahl Hjort joined Schjødt in 2021, and was appointed as practice group manager of the employment group in January 2022. Prior to joining Schjødt in 2021, Kristin worked as a deputy judge in Oslo district court, as law clerk in the Supreme Court of Norway and as an associate in Thommessen law firm. She has extensive experience within the fields of employment law, civil and criminal procedure, litigation, dispute resolution and mediation. Kristin holds an LLM degree with specialization in international law from the University of California, Berkeley, where she also undertook courses in employment law, negotiation and mediation.

Kristin obtained a master's degree in law from the University of Oslo in 2008. She was a research fellow at the Institute of private law, Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo and wrote her one-year master thesis within the fields of employment law and international private law. She has after her Master's degree continued to work for the University of Oslo, amongst others by holding classes, by working as an external examiner at exams and by assisting students with their Master's thesis within various fields of law. Kristin is also a co-author at arbeidsrett.no.
