Neila was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2010. Prior to that, she graduated from the University of Cambridge with an LL.M. in Commercial Law.
She has acquired significant dispute resolution experience in the maritime industry including advising on a wide range of complex charterparty, ship building and ship management disputes. Neila has regularly advised owners, charterers, P&I Clubs, shipyards and ship managers globally in arbitration proceedings and mediation in disputes ranging from stevedore damage, unseaworthiness, contaminated bunkers, underperformance, unsafe port, demurrage and off-hire claims. In addition to contentious matters, Neila has regularly drafted commercial and settlement agreements for clients.
