Øyvind has extensive experience in privacy and data protection, intellectual property and all kinds of IT-related contracts. His experience in legal assistance on privacy and data protection includes management of large and complex GDPR compliance projects, drafting and negotiating data processing agreements and agreements for transfer of personal data outside of the European Economic Area (including use of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses), and training and presentations on data protection issues to boards and management.
Øyvind’s areas of expertise also comprise fintech, marketing and e-commerce. He provides legal advice on various matters related to intellectual property rights and assists with the protection and enforcement of copyright and trademark rights.
Øyvind has for several years been Chairman of the Norwegian Computer Association’s special interest group for cloud computing, working to promote knowledge and user experience in this particular field of the Norwegian IT sector. He is regularly used as a lecturer in various forums within his areas of expertise.
