Sverre is head of our Oil, Energy & Shipping department and is head of our expert group EOSI - Energy, Offshore, Shipping & Infrastructure. He is specialised in petroleum law and has extensive experience in general contract law, administrative law and working with offshore and onshore wind projects. Sverre has broad experience from advising E&P companies in commercial contracts, regulatory issues, disputes and advising on transactions involving purchase of oil companies, assignment of field interests and operatorships.
Sverre has been Vice President in Statoil's legal department. He has had management responsibility for legal advice to Statoil's upstream operations on the Norwegian continental shelf and its business area marketing , processing and renewable energy. He has worked in Kluge law firm and as Assistant Director General in the Petroleum Law and Legal Affairs Section in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. Sverre has experience as an examiner in petroleum law and in general contract law at the University of Oslo and the University of Bergen respectively. Sverre has a broad legal expertise and experience within the oil and gas industry.
